Dr. Al Yabhouni has a distinguished career in senior roles spanning government, investment, and the petroleum sector. He is a Principal of IBX General Trading and Platinum Group, and he is a Principal in Vizier Asset Management on fund and asset management strategies where he assists with capital raising and investor relationships. His experience has been instrumental in advancing Vizier’s performance in numerous regions. He has also served as a Special Advisor to the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.
He holds a Ph.D. in Decision-Making Strategy from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Abu Dhabi University, and a Bachelor’s in E-Business Management with a Higher Diploma in Computer Networking from the Higher Colleges of Technology.

Renowned for his superior global macro views and stellar hedge fund performance over decades, Gary is highly skilled at positioning funds and companies to take strategic and tactical advantage of markets and sectors across a broad range of industrial and financial sectors.
Gary holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University at Kingston and a Master of Science in Information Management from Syracuse University.
His expertise spans asset and fund management, hedge funds, structured credit, and private equity. Known for his broad industry network, Gary is highly skilled at building strategic partnerships across the financial services sector.

Abhijit Shah is the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Gold, where he oversees all aspects of operations, including smelting, refining, and capacity enhancement. He plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic growth and innovation through the cultivation of key partnerships.
Before joining Emirates Gold, Abhijit served as the Director of Private Banking at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, where he managed a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and provided trusted investment advisory services. His career spans several prestigious financial institutions, including Citibank in the UAE, and Bahrain, ICICI Prudential Asset Management in Mumbai, and Tata-AIG General Insurance Co. Ltd. in Bangalore. Throughout his career, he has gained significant expertise in government relations, advocacy, and market development, with a particular focus on the Middle East.
Abhijit holds a Master’s degree in International Business, with dual specializations in Marketing and Finance, from the Symbiosis Institute of International Business. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, with a focus on Marketing, Salesmanship, Publicity, and Cost & Work Accounting.

Amar Patel is the newly appointed Deputy CEO and Board Member at Emirates Gold. Amar has held various middle and senior positions in the UAE, including Director, Derivative Analyst, and Manager. In these roles, he demonstrated a strong ability to navigate the complexities of precious metals trading, conduct in-depth market analysis, and develop diverse trading strategies for international exchanges.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering, part of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University.
